recipe // pita chips with garlic, olive oil & sea salt.

While doing some spring cleaning around the apartment this weekend, I discovered a stash of pita bread in the freezer and decided to whip up some homemade pita chips.  These turned out totally amazing and are a great snack with your favorite dip (hummus, I’m looking at you) and even have enough flavor to be eaten on their own.
Ingredients:–  Pita Bread-  Olive Oil-  Sea Salt-  Crushed Garlic
Directions:1.  Preheat oven to 400 degrees2.  Cut your pita bread up into chip sized pieces and arrange on a cookie sheet3.  In a small bowl, mix up some olive oil and crushed garlic4.  Brush olive oil & garlic mixture over pita bread and sprinkle with sea salt5.  Bake for 7-8 minutes or until chips begin to get golden.  Flip chips over and bake for an additional minute to get a good crunch.
