the yes address.

At the beginning of the year there was a lot of talk of intentions and resolutions – we wanted to set ourselves up for success for the year ahead and focus on being the best possible versions of ourselves. One common rallying cry I heard around the internet was this idea of saying yes – being open to new experiences and adventures, and taking advantage of every possible opportunity that presented itself. And I totally love this idea! One of my favorite quotes is, “Say yes and you’ll figure it out afterward” – so many times we talk ourselves out of something because every single thing isn’t lined up perfectly and we’re too afraid of that uncertainty or risk of failure. But you know what… things will never be perfect and we’re all really just figuring things out on a daily basis, so you might as well go for it.

Eventbrite Yes Address Tour.

Inspired by the idea of new experiences and adventures, Eventbrite just launched a new series of events in San Francisco they’re calling the “Yes Address” – it’s 10 days of events around the city, ranging from a pasta making class to a night at the Exploratorium to even some Sunday night yoga followed by cocktails. It’s a mix of things you’ve probably been interested in trying at some point but might have brushed it off and fallen victim to the “busy” trap. Life tends to get in the way sometimes, doesn’t it? Guilty. I’m often the first to admit that I typically avoid events during the work week because I feel like I have too many other things to do. LAME.

And as a little kick in the butt, Eventbrite has challenged me to say yes and participate in all 10 days of their Yes Address tour in San Francisco. It’s the perfect little push outside of my every day routine and comfort zone (I actually said yes to partnering with them on the Yes Address tour before I saw the full schedule of events – I had no idea what I was getting into!) AND it’s going to be an amazing way to experience this new city of mine.

For those of you in the Bay Area – you should definitely join me! There’s something for everything in the Yes Address line up and a bunch of the events are even free. So go ahead, pick a few events and see where saying yes takes you. Even if you’re not local, be sure to check out Eventbrite’s events in your area – there’s always something fun happening! I’ll also be sharing live updates throughout the week on Instagram in case you’ve ever been curious about what a Masala Bhangra workout is like (um… me too. No idea about that one!) or what kind of dinner two Top Chef contestants would whip up.

What are some things you’ve said YES to lately? Are there any awesome events on Eventbrite you’re eager to check out?

This post was sponsored by Eventbrite  to promote their Yes Address tour. As always, all opinions are 100% honest and my own – authenticity is a top priority and I only partner with brands I truly love.
