STAND and SOUL with me!

STAND and SOUL with me!If you’re a Bay Area reader I’ve got some exciting news for you… I’m partnering with STAND and SoulCycle to host a fundraising ride in support of charity: waterSTAND is a new mobile app that makes it easier for people to discover and connect with each other around causes and events they care about. It’s about connecting with others over shared interests and passions, and using the power of those connections to raise awareness and funds for the charities and causes that matter most to you. All from an app! Pretty cool, right?

I was thrilled when my friends at the STAND team reached out about this opportunity because it’s a true combination of two things I really strongly believe in: taking care of your body and giving back, and I’d absolutely love for you to join me. Here’s the scoop:

How to RSVP: Make ANY donation on STAND to my  STAND for charity:water. Every person who donates will have a bike for the SoulCycle ride. Here’s how to donate and RSVP for the ride:
  1. Download the STAND app (apple.co/1HIZxo4)
  2. Donate in the app to my STAND (you can search “SoulCycle” in the “Give to a STAND” section – from there, you’ll see both mine and Jeanne’s STANDs and can easily donate.
  3. If you don’t have an iPhone, we still want you to join us! Donate to my STAND: https://api.stand.tc/ac?s=275 on the web app.

Additional Info: You’ll receive an email from donations@networkforgood.org with a tax-deductible receipt for 100% of your donation to either nonprofit. You will also receive a follow-up email from the STAND team with instructions about the ride! Registration for the SoulCycle ride ends on Wednesday, September 16.

That’s it! Super simple. Your donations will go right to charity: water and help bring clean, safe drinking water to those who need it across the globe. Water is something we tend not to think much about; you turn on the faucet, it comes out. You run to the convenience store, there are plenty of cold bottled options for you to choose from. Hydration is also something that’s so important to fitness and SoulCycle – I know I couldn’t get through a ride without it but there are so many communities across the globe who don’t have that privilege, and that needs to change because access to clean water is something that everyone deserves.
Not able to join us on September 19th or not in San Francisco? You can still support my STAND and donate to charity: water; I am so grateful for the community I’ve built around this blog and the people I’ve met through blogging and your support is truly appreciated.
