Over the past few years I’ve found tremendous value in not being afraid to unplug. To not feel guilty when putting up that out of office email response and to actually take a break instead of working doubletime before a vacation to try and keep business running as usual when I’m away from my computer.

So, consider this an out of office message as I’m heading to Tulum today to soak up some sunshine, explore and celebrate turning 29 with my best friend. I plan on spending as much time in the ocean as possible and will likely be found with a cocktail in hand at all times.
