On Our Radar.

Happy weekend! I don't usually pop in here on the weekends but after spending some time relaxing, doing some browsing and catching up on blog reading, I wanted to share a few finds with you in case you're doing a little unwinding too. A few things that are on my radar at the moment (perfect for a little Sunday morning lounging!): (more…)

finding my stride again.

* Photos by Tory Putnam My relationship with running has been a bit of an odd one. I ran track and cross country in middle school and although I had a few wins in the 800, I was never a team favorite or expected to be a star in high school. I was the kid who loved the timed running events in gym class - I remember getting a thrill from pushing it amongst the rest of my unenthused competition and even during field hockey in high school, I didn't mind the practices full of running…

stay the path.

When it comes to fitness (well, most things actually), I'm not really a natural. I can remember my first yoga class where I could barely touch my toes and nearly fell over during every single balancing pose. spring race training with athleta.

The first few days of beautiful weather are always a bit of a wake up call for me; it's time to get back into shape. Spring and summer mean a few things: bathing suit season, more time spent outdoors and if you're a runner, race season. // Photos by Tory Putnam Last year I took the season off from running and races after training for the Chicago Marathon for two years in a row but San Francisco's perfect running weather has me feeling the urge to register for a race once again. In case you've got…
