dog park days.

   With the amazing weather we've been having in Chicago, dog park days are back!  We're lucky enough to have the greatest dog park within walking distance - Callie has been one happy girl swimming and playing fetch until she has no energy left, which takes a lot.  There are few things better these days than seeing that little furry girl of mine at her happiest (even if she's disgusting afterwards).

running wishlist.

As you may have caught in my Spending Freeze post, I'll be running my first half marathon in June!  I'll be the first to admit that I haven't really been much of a runner since my track/cross country/field hockey days in my teenage years.  Running a half marathon is always something I've said I'd like to do some day, so this year will be the year I do it - I'm registered for the Chicago Women's Half Marathon and kick off my official 12 week training program on April 1.  For now, I've been working…

Okay, so I just ran out of hangers... for about the third time since I've moved to Chicago.  My walk in closet is nearly full (and I live alone!) and I've reached the point where I'm beginning to buy duplicate shades of beauty products I already own.  It's time to do something - to take a break from the constant shopping and save a bit instead of buying and buying and buying.
