Most days, I tend to keep my beauty routine fairly simple. As much as I’m in awe of the ladies out there who have mastered contouring or can kill it with a cat eye, I am not among them and quite frankly, I just prefer to keep it simple. My basic beauty routine consists of a BB cream, a little under-eye concealer and a swipe of blush and bronzer, and that’s about it – I’m all about that no makeup makeup look but one area I embrace a little boost… my mascara.
Unfortunately I was not blessed with either dark lashes or long lashes, so mascara is always a must for me to feel put together. It’s seriously the one product within my beauty routine that I absolutely cannot live without (or leave the house without!) and I tend to be ultra picky when it comes to my mascara.
For me, a good mascara must not only darken and lengthen my lashes, but add volume. I want coverage that gets every little lash without clumping them together, and it needs to last all day long without any smudging or flaking. I tend to want it all, and I even want to be able to easily take it off at the end of the day just during my typical facewash… the bar is set pretty high! Covergirl has had some of my favorite mascara for years – I’ve long loved the Lashblast line so with their latest launch, Plumpify Blast Pro Mascara, I was eager to fall in love all over again.
Covergirl Plumpify Blast Pro Mascara delivers on its promises of 50X volume + vertical lift – it takes lashes to the wow level with just one swipe with a really unique brush that allows you to get right to the roots of your lashes (and the end of the brush allows you to get in and grab all of the little lashes too!). It lasts all day and washes off easily with soap and water and really works well for both day and night. You’re able to easily glam it up with gorgeous lashes that pair well with an everyday natural look, or skip the false lashes for a night out with a few extra coats of mascara.
Have you tried Covergirl’s new Plumpify Blast Pro Mascara yet? Anyone else a firm believer that drugstore mascara’s are the best of ‘em all?
