I noticed something interesting recently – regardless of whether someone is a beauty junkie or a makeup novice, everyone seems to have an absolute favorite mascara. Even amongst those of us who regularly bounce between products and love experimenting with their makeup and skincare routine, mascara seems to be the one product where you seem to stick with your tried and true. And we don’t only buy and use the same mascara time after time, we’re all convinced that our pick is the best that’s out there.

For the most part, I keep things very consistent with my mascara because I’m never happy when I stray. From smudged eye makeup to clumpy or flakey lashes, things always seem to go wrong whenever I dare to try a new mascara and I always end up finding my way back to a drugstore classic: Covergirl LashBlast Volume Mascara (with Buxom’s Lash Mascara as a solid backup option!)
